About Centerra:
Centerra Gold Inc. is a Canadian-based gold mining company focused on operating, developing, exploring and acquiring gold and copper properties in North America, Türkiye, and other markets worldwide. Centerra operates two mines: the Mount Milligan Mine in British Columbia, Canada, and the Öksüt Mine in Türkiye. The Company also owns the Kemess Project in British Columbia, Canada, the Goldfield Project in Nevada, United States, and owns and operates the Molybdenum Business Unit in the United States and Canada. Centerra’s shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange (“TSX”) under the symbol CG and on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) under the symbol CGAU. The Company is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Investment Highlights:
Value: We are trading at a discounted P/NAV multiple, backed by 5.8Mozs of gold and 1.7Blbs of copper reserves, 2025E production of 250-290kozs and 50-60Mlbs of copper, and net cash of $562M. We believe we have the potential to re-rate our shares as we execute on our growth strategy.
Growth: Clear multi-year pipeline of organic opportunities that provides continued gold and copper production through the mid-2040s in safe jurisdictions of Canada and U.S. – Mount Milligan expansion to 2045, Goldfield project, Kemess project, and the Thompson Creek restart in our Molybdenum Business Unit – with exploration upside potential at several assets.
Strong financial position: Centerra has $562M of cash and $962M of liquidity available, positioning the company well to fully fund its organic growth pipeline of projects while continuing return capital to shareholders through share buybacks ($100M buyback approved in 2025) and quarterly dividends (paid quarterly dividend for the last 23 quarters; current yield is ~2%).
