Joe Davy is a technology entrepreneur and investor in Seattle, WA. Joe grew up in a rural community in North Carolina and started his career as a software engineer before beginning his entrepreneurial career in his early twenties.

Joe has been the co-founder and CEO of Banzai since 2016. Under Joe’s leadership, Banzai, has grown to nearly 3,000 customers including Cisco, Microsoft, Facebook, Google, and Hubspot. Previously Joe was a senior executive at Avalara (NYSE: AVLR) prior to its IPO and subsequent acquisition by Vista Equity Partners for $8.4 billion.

In 2019, Forbes magazine named Joe to its 30 Under 30 list. Joe has also been a board director at various startups and non-profits including Legalpad (acquired by Deel). Joe serves as Vice Chair of the Seattle Symphony, one of the preeminent symphonies globally, and for nine years he served as a director at the North Carolina Museum of Art Foundation.

Joe attended the University of North Carolina where he majored in Economics before leaving school to found his first technology company. He is also a graduate of the EO Entrepreneurial Masters Program at MIT’s Endicott Center. Joe has a son, Benjamin, and a wife, Allison. They reside on Bainbridge Island, WA.
